Air Ambulance Nursing Role Description:
This Flight Nurse position is responsible for assessing and managing critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients in critical care situations. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with air and ground teams to provide safe and effective patient care, utilizing critical thinking skills to determine the best course of action.
Key Requirements:
- Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN
- Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area
- EMT Certification in state(s) where required
The ideal candidate will also possess prior flight experience and instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS. Advanced Certification (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) is required within 24 months from date of hire.
