Critical Care Flight Nurse Opportunity
Med-Trans Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Flight Nurse to join our team of air transportation experts. As a Critical Care Flight Nurse, you will be responsible for providing critical care transport services, utilizing advanced medical skills to assess and manage patients in emergencies.
This role requires effective communication and collaboration with air and ground teams, ensuring patient safety and adherence to strict safety standards. Candidates should have experience in emergency or adult critical care settings and maintain appropriate certifications for flight nursing.
Schedule and Compensation: The schedule requires two 24-hour shifts per week, and the compensation package includes a starting range of $28.09-$48.66 per hour, dependent on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Ambulatory care and stabilization of critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients
- Collaboration with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners to ensure safe and efficient patient transport
- Maintenance of accurate company and regulatory documentation and records
Qualifications:
- Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN
- Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area
- EMT Certification in state(s) where required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification is provided during New Hire Training)
