Job Title: Part-Time Flight Paramedic
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Flight Paramedic to join our team of air transportation experts. The successful candidate will work closely with our crew to safely transport patients to and from medical facilities, as well as provide scene call work.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility, maintaining thorough patient care documentation.
- Maintain documentation of required licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and advanced procedures in the Employee Education Manual.
- Be knowledgeable in the use and routine maintenance of all equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
- Function as a medical flight member, assisting in pre-mission liftoff checklists and providing pilot assistance when needed.
- Comply with safety standards to ensure the safety of self, medical personnel, patient, and equipment prior to liftoff.
- Conduct aircraft safety briefings as needed.
- Filling open or vacant shifts within assigned areas as deemed appropriate by the Regional Director.
Requirements:
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certification required prior to flight status (NRP certification provided during New Hire Training).
- Prior experience in helicopter air ambulance services or related fields preferred.
