About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Part-Time Flight Paramedic to join our team of air transportation experts. This individual will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, as well as scene call work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility, maintaining thorough patient care documentation.
- Maintain documentation of required licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and advanced procedures in the Employee Education Manual.
- Be knowledgeable in the use and routine maintenance of all equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
- Function as a medical flight member, assisting in pre-mission liftoff checklists and providing pilot assistance when needed.
- Comply with safety standards to ensure the safety of self, medical personnel, patient, and equipment prior to liftoff.
- Conduct aircraft safety briefings as needed.
Requirements:
- Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification is provided during New Hire Training).
