Job Description:
We are seeking a Part-Time Flight Paramedic to join our team of air transportation experts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care through the completion and submission of electronic patient care records.
- Conduct daily base checks, including narcotic counts, to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Maintain thorough documentation of patient care and medical procedures.
- Participate in ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences to stay current with knowledge and skills.
- Stay up-to-date on required licensure, certifications, continuing education, and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Three years' experience in an ALS or critical care setting.
- Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
- NREMT-P certification in state(s) where required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification is provided during New Hire Training).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior flight experience.
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
