Job Title: Part-Time Flight Paramedic

We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Flight Paramedic to join our team of air transportation experts. As a Flight Paramedic, you will play a vital role in safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, as well as scene call work.
Responsibilities:
- Document patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
- Conduct daily base checks, including narcotic counts.
- Provide advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility.
- Maintain competency in knowledge and psychomotor skills through ongoing training and education.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and used.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals, and the public.
- Function as a medical flight member.
- Attend pre-mission briefings and mission debriefing sessions.
- Assist pilots with pre-flight checklists and other duties as needed.
- Ensure safety standards are met prior to liftoff.
- Fulfill open or vacant shifts within assigned areas as directed by the Regional Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Three (3) years' experience in an ALS or critical care setting.
- Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
- NREMT-P certification in state(s) where required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required prior to flight status.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior flight experience.
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
Additional Requirements:
- Advanced Certification (FP-C) preferred, required within 24 months from date of hire.
