Job Description
The Flight Nurse in Emergency Services is responsible for the safe transport of patients to and from medical facilities, ensuring effective critical care in a high-stress environment. This role requires advanced critical thinking skills and collaboration with air and ground teams to maintain safety standards and excellent patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates must be licensed RNs with experience in emergency or critical care settings and possess necessary certifications, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and Trauma Certification where required. Advanced certification (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) is required within 24 months from date of hire. Prior flight experience and instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS are preferred qualifications.
