Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to join our team at Med-Trans. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet, with a focus on our Bell 407 airframe.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance documentation.
- Manage inventory checks and maintain accurate records of supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and FAA regulations.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of efforts.
Requirements:
- Three years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience, with a minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience within the last 24 months.
- Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Bell 407 Maintenance experience.
- Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
- EMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- FAA Inspection Authorization Certification.
- Related experience under CFR Part 135.
- Autopilot maintenance experience.
- Avionics and electrical repair experience.
