Med-Trans is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to perform maintenance services on our fleet of helicopters, specifically the Bell 407 airframe. This role requires a strong understanding of aircraft maintenance and safety procedures to ensure timely and high-quality transportation services for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair aircraft systems, including mechanical inspections and repairs.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring stock levels and tracking equipment usage.
- Document service paperwork and FAA information accurately and in compliance with company policies.
- Sustain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
- Collaborate with teams to coordinate efforts and facilitate communication between departments and vendors.
Requirements:
- 3 years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience, with at least 6 months of helicopter maintenance experience within the last 24 months.
- Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Bell 407 Maintenance experience.
- Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
- EMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- FAA Inspection Authorization Certification.
- Related experience under CFR Part 135.
- Autopilot maintenance experience.
- Avionics and electrical repair experience.
