Flight Operations
As a Medical Flight Pilot at MED-TRANS CORPORATION, you will be responsible for operating a helicopter to transport patients to and from medical facilities.
Our pilots work closely with medical teams to ensure safe and efficient transportation of patients.
We prioritize the maintenance and upkeep of our aircraft to ensure they are always ready for flight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a helicopter to transport patients to and from medical facilities.
- Collaborate with medical teams to ensure safe and efficient transportation of patients.
- Ensure that aircraft are prepared for flights according to established protocols and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams, flight crews, facilities, and partners to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
- Instrument rating for helicopters.
- Valid FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
- At least 2,000 hours of total flight experience.
- 1,500 hours of helicopter flying time.
- 1,000 hours of helicopter PIC experience.
- 1,000 hours of turbine helicopter flying experience.
- 200 hours of night flight experience (aided or unaided).
- 200 hours of instrument flying experience (actual/hood/simulated) including 50 hours actual/simulated in aircraft.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience flying EC135 helicopters is preferred.
Pilot license and FAA medical certificate must be uploaded during the application process.
