Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Paramedic to join our team of air transportation experts. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, as well as scene call work.
Responsibilities:
- Completion and submission of electronic patient care records within the specified time frame
- Daily base checks, including narcotic count
- Pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care
- Maintenance of competency in knowledge and psychomotor skills
- Documentation of required licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and advanced procedures
- Knowledgeable use and routine maintenance of all equipment and supplies used by emergency programs
- Maintenance of positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals, and the public
Requirements:
- Three (3) years' experience in an ALS or critical care setting
- Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area
- NREMT-P certification in state(s) where required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior flight experience
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
