Job Description:
Flight Paramedic Career Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flight Paramedic to join our team of air transportation experts. As a Flight Paramedic with our organization, you will play a critical role in safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, as well as responding to scene calls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completion and submission of electronic patient care records within the specified time frame
- Daily base checks, including narcotic counts
- Providing pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care
- Maintaining thorough patient care documentation
- Staying up-to-date with ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences to maintain competency in knowledge and psychomotor skills
- Documenting required licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and advanced procedures in the Employee Education Manual
Requirements:
- Three (3) years' experience in an ALS or critical care setting
- Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area
- NREMT-P certification in state(s) where required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification is provided during New Hire Training)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior flight experience
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
We offer competitive starting pay, dependent on experience, and a schedule that requires two 24-hour shifts per week. Company-paid crew housing is provided while on shift.
