Flight Nurse Career Opportunity at Med-Trans Corporation:
The Flight Nurse provides critical care to patients during air transport to medical facilities. This role requires collaboration with the medical team to ensure patient safety.
Main Duties:
- Manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians' orders.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, adhering to safety standards and briefings.
- Share shift change info to transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
Requirements:
- Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN.
- Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
- EMT Certification in state(s) where required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification is provided during New Hire Training).
