What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Pilot position at Med-Trans?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fixed Wing Cessna 208 Caravan Pilot to join our team at Guardian Flight. This pilot will be responsible for providing medical air transportation services to our customers, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Scheduled shifts run 15 on/15 off, with service day or night trips available. Our pilots work as part of a quality, professional team that is committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers. A valid 1st or 2nd Class Medical certification is required for this role.
The successful candidate will work closely with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities. This includes ensuring aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, maintaining accurate company and regulatory documentation, and effectively communicating with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining required certifications and ongoing ground and air training
- Ensuring aircraft cleanliness duties are completed prior to each flight
- Providing shift change information to transitioning pilots and teams
- FOLLOWING PROTOCOLS FOR RECORDING COMPANY CHANGE BOARD DETAILS
- May need to deice the plane, assist with towing the aircraft, and maneuvering in and out of the hangar
