What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service/Warehouse Lead position at Med Water Systems?
At Med Water Systems we manufacture and install simple, reliable, ultra-pure water purification systems used in medical laboratories across the country. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive CSR/Warehouse Team Lead to join our dynamic organization. In this unique role, you will provide essential customer support and operational support as well as contributing to the success of a growing company. You will play a key role in processing orders, shipping, and receiving. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and is eager to contribute to the success of the Med Water Systems Team.
What you'll find yourself doing
- Order processing and Customer Service. Manage a main company email for sales orders and customer inquiries, responding or escalating as necessary.
- Daily order and customer updates in the CRM system, emails, and phone.
- Comfort and ability with written and verbal communication with clients and coworkers.
- Print shipping labels; organize, package and prepare shipments and/or orders for pick-up.
- Support final packaging and shipping of finished systems; palletizing for LTL freight.
- Update order and shipping tracker spreadsheet daily with new orders.
- Process consumables and other equipment for production.
- Assembly of raw materials and manufactured parts.
- Manage a clean and organized warehouse.
Skills that will help ensure success
- High school diploma required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), ability to learn CRM system.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Ability to use hand assembly tools and machines (e.g. drills, saws).
- Good understanding of quality control principles and ability to perform simple testing.
- Excellent hand dexterity, for daily computer use and order processing.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, push and pull as necessary for an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds repetitively for an 8-hour shift.
- Background Check and Drug Screening Required
