Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced APP to manage acute and chronic medical diagnosis and symptoms for patients with behavioral health needs.

This role requires a clinician to be an integral member of our interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality care to patients with sensitive healthcare disorders.

Experience and Education

• Minimum 3 years experience in acute and chronic healthcare management, caring for adolescents and adult patients.
• Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistant required. Graduation from an accredited program with corresponding board certification.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manage acute and chronic medical diagnosis, symptom management, and problem solving.
2. Work independently with a patient population including pediatric through adulthood, with supervising physician support as needed.
3. Perform comprehensive evaluations, including history, physical examination, and diagnostic testing.
4. Focused history and chief complaint for follow-up visits, incorporating review of diagnostic findings and plan development.
5. Order and perform diagnostic tests, integrate findings, and modify treatment plans as needed.
6. Communicate patient care needs with healthcare professionals, including nursing, therapists, and ancillary staff.
7. Have knowledge to code and submit bills for processing.
