What are the responsibilities and job description for the Casting Engineer / Specialist position at MEDA Engineering & Technical Services?
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Casting Engineer to join our team in Livonia / Dearborn, MI.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Participate in the die design, in collaboration with the technical office or external company
- Plan the production process in accordance with technical specifications
- Specify the type of raw material that fulfils specifications (alloys, ingot and scrap iron combinations, etc)
- Control the quality of the raw material, casting and the cast piece or product
- Follow and control the production process
- Collaborate with those responsible for the environment and occupational risk prevention
- Propose production improvements
