Job Description :
Assist Occupational Therapists in providing therapeutic interventions and developing individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs in a skilled nursing setting.
Provide hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises and functional activities, to improve mobility, strength, and daily living skills.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and improved patient outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for self-care, injury prevention, and enhancing daily living abilities.
Qualifications :
Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of practice.
Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting preferred, but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
