- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine residents’ therapy needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on enhancing functional abilities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish and meet care goals.
- Provide education to residents and their families on therapy interventions and adaptive equipment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations.
- Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (preferred but not required).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
