Are you ready to take the lead in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? As an Assembler Lead at MedAire, you'll oversee the daily processing of medical kits through New Kit Build and Refurbishment processes. You'll provide essential team support, prioritize daily functions, and be the first point of contact for production issues. Your role will involve suggesting solutions to improve processes, conducting daily safety checks, and ensuring all associates follow safety guidelines. Additionally, you'll delegate end-of-day housekeeping duties and ensure their completion, along with reporting on production KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Leadership: Be the first point of contact for production issues and concerns.
- Daily Processing: Oversee the processing of medical kits through New Kit Build and Refurbishment processes.
- Safety First: Conduct daily pre-shift safety checks and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
- Prioritization: Update priority boards and delegate end-of-day housekeeping duties.
- KPI Reporting: Provide daily reports on production key performance indicators.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet quality standards through regular inspections.
- Team Support: Train and support team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Process Improvement: Suggest and implement solutions to improve processes and minimize errors.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve production challenges efficiently.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the team
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience with conflict resolution.
- Excellent communication skills to maintain open and transparent communication.
- Proficiency in data programs such as Excel.
- Basic competency in email and document retrieval systems.
- Detail-oriented with a proven ability to follow safety protocols (OSHA standards preferred).

Required Work Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience with bar code scanners and ERP systems preferred.
Required Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a high-quality, high-throughput manufacturing environment
Required Languages:
- English
Travel/Rotation Requirements:
Minimal travel required.
