Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Molecular Biologist / Scientist I to support our client’s Research division located in South San Francisco. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in a collaborative and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cell biology and extensive hands-on laboratory experience, preferably within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform human cell culture and maintain cell lines under sterile conditions
- Conduct nucleic acid extractions (RNA/DNA) from cells
- Support all in-vitro molecular biology workflows
- Execute Western Blot techniques to detect and analyze proteins
- Utilize CRISPR technology for gene editing experiments
- Collaborate with team members to analyze and interpret experimental data
- Maintain accurate documentation and lab records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on laboratory experience (industry experience strongly preferred)
- No post-doctoral candidates at this time
- Demonstrated expertise in cell biology techniques
- Proficiency in molecular biology methods including CRISPR and Western Blot
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
Salary : $55 - $60
