MedBridge Healthcare Group is seeking an HST (Home Sleep Test) Logistics and Patient Support Specialist for the Greenville, SC location.
This is not a remote and/or hybrid position. Office is located at 536 Old Howell, Rd Greenville, SC 29615
Pay rate is $20 per hour.
This position is responsible for communication with patients regarding the scheduling of Home Sleep Test devices, receipt of devices, review of instructions, shipping questions, etc. The Sleep Testing and Logistics position receives and processes electronic HST consent forms in a lab management system, and performs delinquent device calls to patients; then works through the delinquent process via emails and letters, and if necessary initiates the collections process. Secondary supportive duties include responsibilities inbound and outbound shipping logistics, and device inventory management for home sleep department. In addition, duties will also include performing all inventory tracking, shipping and packaging workflow notation, and cleaning and replenishment of devise. Processing and uploading sleep study data in multiple sleep manufacturer software and data entry in lab management system. The hours for the position will be Monday-Friday 8 AM- 5PM and overtime as necessary.

Main Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone promptly and professionally, document calls appropriately and effectively.
- Inventory management and tracking in system.
- Prepare task updates and report inquiries as required/requested.
- Report all failed studies in lab management system and follow process workflows as documented.
- Handled all confidential patient information according to HIPAA procedures.
- Proficient data entry into lab management system.
- Perform delinquent HST device phone calls.
- Send out delinquent letters and initiate collections for overdue delinquent patients.
- Perform patient shipment scheduling calls for device deployment.
- Perform patient phone calls to confirm delivery and receipt of HST device.
- Post all communication and actions in lab management system in order to maintain accurate patient records.
- Home Sleep Testing (HST) device configuration with the patient demographic information.
- Check-out devices and noting accurate data in the patient management system.
- Preparation of outbound shipment to patient to include: accurate device and program instructions, questionnaires, patient packet, return shipping label, supplies, etc.
- Generate shipping labels in system and prepare return label for patient to utilize and submit back to location.
- Ensure all shipment details, tracking, vendor, etc. are noted in the system promptly and accurately.
- Checking in received devices and notate in lab management system.
- Convert and upload data to be reviewed by clinical staff and physicians.
- Follow standard cleaning and device replenishment protocols as per policies and procedures.
- Complete check in checklist and submit devices back to inventory management.
- Ship all devices same day no later than 3:00 pm EST.
Job Requirements
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Logistics experience of at least 1 year
- Communication skills High school diploma and/or equivalent
- Strong computer skills
- Strong "soft" skills (telephone presence, congeniality, customer service)
