What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Transportation Driver position at MedBridge, Inc.?
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport passengers or goods to their destinations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Communicate effectively with passengers or clients to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle
- Follow designated routes and schedules
- Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing their belongings if necessary
Qualifications:
- Applicant should be a minimum of 23 years old for auto insurance purposes
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with passengers or clients
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to lift heavy objects if required
Note: Experience in school bus driving or paratransit is a plus.
