POSITION/TITLE: SR. PROJECT ACCOUNTANT
DEPARTMENT: MEDC DBA TRIBAL ONE
MANAGER: MEDC CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)
LOCATION: GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO
PAY GRADE: $75-95K (DOE)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Under general supervision of the MEDC CFO, leads and supports the development and implementation of
Construction Accounting functional division, planning and forecasting module in MEDC/Tribal1
financial reporting system. Responsibilities include assisting with financial planning and budgeting
processes, monthly close process, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial
models/projections, and performing research and analysis as may be required by leadership, which spans
across all entities served by MEDC/TRIBAL 1.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review, forecast and analyze financial statements, gather financial and commercial data.
• Monthly construction project job costing and percentage of completion method.
• Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes.
• Prepares Bank and account reconciliations for multiple entities
• Assisting construction division project teams with financial guidance and budget.
• Developing financial projections and building financial models in Excel and PowerPoint, including:
P&L Financial Model, Revenue Drivers, Cost of Sales Drivers and Operational Cost Drivers.
• Perform research and analysis as required, and ensure compliance with financial guidelines, FASB,
GASB, GAAP and company policies.
• ERP integrations with accounting software
• Collaborates with departmental management to create a current process map data flow and processes
between MEDC and related affiliates and solutions.
• Supports Business projects, efficiencies, and coordination.
• Performs other duties as required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field; advanced degree
preferred.
• Minimum Four (4) years of progressive work experience in a similar Senior Accountant role within
an accounting/finance department; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Individual must be either a citizen of the U.S. or a non-U.S. citizen who has been lawfully admitted
for permanent residence as evidenced by a Permanent Resident Card.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY:
• Knowledge of the standards, policies, practices, and procedures of GAAP (Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles) and Governmental Accounting Standards.
• Knowledge of financial and performance analysis.
• Knowledge of managerial and statistical analysis techniques and reporting procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely with staff while driving a result-oriented culture and atmosphere of
accountability.
• Ability to interpret applicable federal, state, county, and local laws, regulations, and requirements.
• Skill in operating business computers and office machines, including in a Windows environment,
specifically Word, Excel, Access, presentation software (such as PowerPoint), and PC-based
computerized accounting software, preferably in SAGE Intacct account software and PROCORE
CRM construction software.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and evening hours as business demands.
• Ability to stand, walk and/or sit for extended periods, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach
with hands and arms; stoop, crouch, crawl; and talk or hear at normal speaking volumes.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to successfully complete all required T1 pre-employment screenings including a background
check and pre-employment drug screen; must remain incompliance with our drug-free workplace
policies, including all applicable federal laws.
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
