What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Billing/Collection Specialist position at Medcare group?
This position is for billing and coding. Our office uses an EMR system called Medent, so computer knowledge is a must. The duties include checking insurance eligibility, working claim denials, and must have the ability to comprehend insurance EOB's and take appropriate measures. This position also includes collecting on past medical bill debt. The perfect candidate should have prior knowledge/experience in medical billing, should be assertive, and have excellent problem-solving and people skills.
