Job Description:
As a CA-licensed psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing mental health services to inmates in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation's (CDCR) adult correctional facilities.
Your primary duties will include conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications, and providing crisis intervention and psychotherapy.
You will also work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and custody staff to provide comprehensive care to inmates.
Requirements:
- CA-licensed psychiatrist
- Experience working in correctional facilities or similar settings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
