Job Description for Advanced Practice Provider (Family Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant)
Position : Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Overview : Urgent Care in Denver, CO seeks experienced Advanced Practice Providers with a minimum of 2 years in Urgent Care, ER, or Family Practice. Candidates should have a strong bedside manner, enjoy patient interaction, and be able to work independently with a focus on patient care.
Pay Range : $108,000-$165,000, with a competitive bonus structure based on performance, including shift differentials for weekend work. The first 3 months offer 100% of bonus achievement.
Responsibilities :
- Function autonomously during solo shifts with ability to consult fellow providers and lead physicians as needed
- Provide patient-centric, evidence-based care for both adult and pediatric patients.
- Interpret and respond promptly to EKGs, X-rays, and lab results.
- Perform bedside procedures such as laceration repairs, I&Ds, foreign body removals, and joint injections / aspirations.
- Obtain DOT certification within 3 months.
- Efficiently manage high patient volume.
- Communicate effectively with clinic supervisors, medical assistants, and technicians.
- Work two full weekends per month (required for full-time providers) and some holidays.
- Be available to work at multiple clinic locations.
- Maintain high patient satisfaction and garner positive social media reviews.
