Oversee urgent and primary care walk-ins and appointments of ages 2 and up as the sole provider.Average volume of 35 patients per 12-hour day, or just under three patients per hour.Perform minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, toenail removal, and orthopedic splinting.Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annuals.Evaluate patients for workers’ compensation injuries.Qualifications and Experience :
2 years experienced preferred but new experienced graduates are welcome in providing patient care as a PA or NP.Masters (PA / NP) and appropriate state licensePreference for ABMS Board certification in internal medicine and family practiceUnderstanding of medical coding and billingKnowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, blood borne pathogens and othersCompetent with common PC applications including Internet, Email and Microsoft Office as well as comfortable with EMR applications.Understanding and experience with occupational health practices, including CME qualification, drug testing protocols, employment physicals, and OSHA guidelines.
