Position : Full-Time Medical Doctor (MD / DO) with Level 2 Certification in Occupational Medicine
Overview :
Seeking passionate and experienced Family Practice or ER physicians who are dedicated to patient care and the practice of medicine. We are currently hiring a Full-Time Medical Doctor (MD / DO) with Level 2 Certification in Occupational Medicine.While priority is given to those already certified, we are open to hiring individuals who commit to completing their certification within three months. Ideally, candidates willing to complete it before their start date will be preferred.
Enjoy the freedom and autonomy of practicing medicine without the burden of managing office systems, billing, and other administrative tasks. Our compensation plan includes a competitive base salary and a robust bonus structure.
Schedule : 40 hours per week. Mon-Fri 8 AM - 4 PM or 9 AM - 5 PM. No weekends required.
Compensation : $110 - $120 / hour.
90 (base) $20 (target bonus) $10 (weekend differential)
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive work-related injury and illness evaluations.
- Perform physical examinations for Department of Transportation (DOT), pre-employment, return-to-work, and annual exams.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with occupational safety and health guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, Workers' Compensation) and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
- Coordinate follow-up care, including physical therapy, specialist referrals, or work restrictions as necessary.
- Provide injury prevention education and wellness programs to employees and employers.
- Collaborate with employers to create customized workplace health programs, including drug and alcohol screenings, immunizations, and wellness assessments.
- Act as a liaison between employers, employees, and Workers' Compensation case managers to ensure smooth return-to-work transitions and case management.
- Ability to perform Impairment Ratings to assess and document the degree of permanent impairment resulting from work-related injuries or illnesses.
