A large hospital facility in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Neuro-Hospitalist for a 7 on and 7 off schedule, with no stroke calls after 5 PM. The ideal candidate must be BE / BC in Neurology and have an interest in stroke patients and general neurology inpatient consults.
The position involves making rounds at the hospital and being available for on-call duties from home for the remainder of the day. A tele-stroke program is in place after 5 PM, eliminating call backs for strokes during the night. This role offers an excellent salary and full benefits, allowing you to work 26 weeks per year while earning the equivalent of 52 weeks. Compensation includes a base salary plus productivity incentives. Candidates have the flexibility to live in suburban Pittsburgh, downtown Pittsburgh, or more rural areas.
