Job Responsibilities:
The Home and Community Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for individuals to remain in their own home.
- Reports observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or Account Manager
- Notifies the Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur
- Assists clients with activities of daily living including bathing, hair care, oral hygiene, skin care, and nail care
- Provides or assists clients with transfers from bed to chair, wheelchair, bedpan, commode, and toilet
Requirements:
- Six months experience in home care preferred
- Successful completion of a competency evaluation
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
- Current CPR certification
