Primary Responsibilities:
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing radiology services and basic nursing duties at MedExpress. This role ensures patient well-being and provides a positive environment while working with physicians, clinicians, and staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete provider orders per state and provider regulations.
- Perform accurate X-rays as ordered by the provider, practicing radiation safety precautions.
- Prepare and transmit images to the radiologist for over-read, and report over-read results to providers.
- Retrieve and archive radiographic reports.
- Create/Burn CD's in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collect detailed patient data, including vital signs and history.
- Assist patients with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam prep, etc.
- Complete occupational health testing, including urine drug screens, breath alcohol testing, hair testing, and physicals.
- Complete patient referrals and callbacks daily.
- Document assessments and procedures accurately in EMR and paper-based systems.
