What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping/Janitor - Bay City - Cultivation Facility position at MEDfarms?
MEDfarms is looking to add a cleaning and housekeeping person to their staff. The role of the cleaning and housekeeping candidate is to perform a wide range of duties to keep a cultivation facility tidy. The candidate will be responsible for performing routine inspections to ensure cleanliness while monitoring supplies and keeping items stocked.
Essential Job Function:
· Cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
· Refilling supplies, such as toilet paper and paper towels.
· Cleaning spills, broken glass and other messes up as quickly as possible.
· Performing maintenance activities related to cleaning such as ensuring bathrooms are sanitary.
· Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed.
· Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around facility.
· Empties trash and replaces liners.
· Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
· Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
· Does laundry for facility.
· Performs additional duties as needed.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
· Ability to multi-task and establish priority of work.
· Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to understand items or activities that require timely follow-up and communication.
· Must have good written and oral communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels at the site.
· Previous cleaning experience a plus
· Must have reliable transportation and non-expired driver’s license
· Basic computer/printer skills

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Weekends as needed
