General Description
The veterinary client services representative schedules appointments as needed, answers all incoming calls, answers questions, receives and directs telephone inquiries and client questions, directs calls to the appropriate employee, and documents all contacts, in a busy small animal veterinary hospital with a fast-paced, sometimes hectic, high-pressure environment. Reliability and attention to detail are must-have attributes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedules and reschedules patient appointments
- Facilitates emergency or urgent appointment requests and walk-ins
- Handles client questions or directs call to appropriate employee
- Takes accurate messages
- Documents all telephone encounters
- Faxes, scans, or emails referrals, written prescriptions, doctor notes, medical records, etc.
- Invoices and charges out clients
- Uses online client-facing scheduling and communications app
- Uses cloud-based electronic medical records system
- Uses Mac, PC, iPad, and credit card machine
VETERINARY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

This Job Is:

Shifts:
- Flexible scheduling; at least 2 evenings per week
- Every other Saturday 8am - 12pm
