What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Lube Technician position at Medford Auto Group Inc?
Medford Auto Group is looking to add to our team of professionals at our Medford Wi. dealership. Currently we are seeking individuals for our service department and have 1 Automotive Lube Technician position available.
The Lube Technician will be responsible for performing light automotive maintenance & tire installation in accordance with Dealership and factory standards. This individual will utilize his/her skills to inspect & identify automotive problems while performing scheduled preventive maintenance on customers vehicles. The Lube Technician will work with other service personnel and management to ensure our customers are satisfied.
Your daily role will be to:
- Perform work as outlined on repair order efficiently and correctly.
- Perform Multipoint inspections and report findings to service manager
- Record time spent on repairs using company time clock punch procedures.
- Provide detailed “story” for each inspection and list repairs needed
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace, cleaning your repair area/areas every day.
- Return customer’s vehicle to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
- Other duties as assigned by management
The right candidate will possess following:
- Tools to perform all aspects of light automotive maintenance a plus but can help right individual, specialty tools will be provided by dealership if needed.
- Positive Attitude
- Strong time management skills
- ASE certification a plus but not necessary
- 1 year automotive lube technician experience a plus but will train right candidate
- Valid drivers license with driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier
- A desire to grow with our team
Compensation
- Pay will be based on experience/skill level
- Factory training will be provided to further advance your technician ability and skills.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
