Responsibilities
Patient Assessment : Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their health status and tailor weight loss plans accordingly.
Medical Management : Oversee the medical aspects of patients' weight loss journeys, ensuring safe and effective treatment protocols.
Consultation : Engage with patients to discuss their weight loss goals, providing guidance, motivation, and support throughout the process.
Collaboration : Work closely with the clinic's multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal results.
Continuous Education : Stay updated with the latest advancements in weight management and related medical fields to provide informed care.
Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements
Education : Accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program graduate.
Licensing : Active and unrestricted NP or PA license in the state of Michigan.
Certifications : BLS certification is required; additional relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience : Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
