In this role, the Medical Director works independently with the available support of a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioners' and Medical Assistants. The environment is fast-paced and the position is multifaceted.

Responsibilities
- Review patient files in accordance with state guidelines;
- Oversee mid-level providers and clinical staff
- Participates in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient care programs established by Company.
- Assist Company with the development of new protocols and the delivery of staff training
- Provide input, medical direction, and support to Company;
- Facilitates referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary and will communicate with collaborating physician and/ or specialist regarding patient’s care
- Participate in the provision and coordination of medical care at the Clinic;
- Advise and assist Company regarding the implementation of patient care policies and other general Clinic policies and procedures;
- Accurately maintain all records and preserve such records;
- Participate in and assist with interviewing, hiring and evaluation of Clinic personnel.
- Assists in the resolution of complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients.
Non-essential Job Functions:
- Participates in refresher trainings provided by Corporate Office. Refresher training may be by means of Regional Trainings, Onsite Support by Corporate Office, Boot camps, and eLearning.
- Performs other clinical duties as required and needed to complete daily responsibilities and provide patient care.
Qualifications
- Current NY Medical License & Active DEA.
- Employer covers malpractice premium, insurance credentialing costs, provides in depth medical guidelines training and associated travel.
- General Practice, Family Practice, OBGYN, Internal Medicine, or related discipline
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
