We are looking for a dedicated, reliable, hard-working individual who understands the importance of detail and provides the highest level of service to our customers and families. The prospective candidate is responsible for the care, maintenance, and repairs of the grounds and property. In this position, you will be responsible for:

· Performing all landscaping maintenance duties such as weed-whacking, lawn mowing, weeding, planting flowers, etc.

· Maintaining equipment

· All functions related to funeral services (setting up, leading in funeral, tearing down)

· Backfilling cremations

· Operating machinery appropriately and in a safe manner

· Handling day to day general maintenance duties

· Handling snow removal (if applicable)

· Fall/Spring clean up

· Performing other duties as assigned by the Grounds Superintendent

Requirements

· High School equivalency required

· 2 years’ experience in maintenance or related field

· Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery

· Ability to read and execute directives from supervisor and/or management

· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

· Must possess a valid state driver’s license

· Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks

*Ability to work Saturdays as required/needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
