What are the responsibilities and job description for the VIOS Systems Manager PCIP position at Media Fusion?
The VIOS System Manager shall be responsible for managing, overseeing, and maintaining the Visual Information Ordering Site (VIOS) and shall exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively explain VIOS issues and status of work requests in a manner customers understand.
The VIOS System Manager shall possess strong interpersonal skills and time management and multitasking skills.
The VIOS System Manager shall possess advanced computer knowledge and skills, a good work ethic, and demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
Certifications
The VIOS System Manager must be able to obtain IA/IT Level III certification within 6 months of hire in Microsoft SQL, C-Sharp, and all current DoD directed requirements for System Administration, to include the 8570 credentials for a system administrator to interface with personnel in the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) within six (6) months of hire.
The VIOS System Manager shall conduct certification requirements, to include classes, credentialing, and continual certification as required.
Technical
The VIOS System Manager shall use specialized software to store and organize data.
The VIOS System Manager shall be able to install and configure hardware/software.
The VIOS System Manager shall perform database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, and troubleshooting, as well as backup and data recovery.
The VIOS System Manager shall be able to make enhancements to VIOS and be able to identify database requirements by interviewing customers, analyzing applications, programming, evaluating existing systems, and designing proposed systems.
The VIOS System Manager shall support database functions by designing and coding utilities.
The VIOS System Manager shall provide timely notification via the Enterprise VI helpdesk of planned and unplanned system maintenance or degradation to support of front-end users.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Level security clearance
Associate’s Degree in a related field of study
Five (5) years of work experience in a related field.
