What are the responsibilities and job description for the Claims Processing Rep - Healthcare/Dental (Eastern Timezone Only) position at Media Riders Inc.?
THIS JOB IS FULLY REMOTE - Eastern Timezone Residents only
**MUST LIVE IN EASTERN TIME ZONE**
- Experience: 2yr minimum in on dental or health insurance claims processing.
- Duration: 3 months, with possible extension
- Other scheduling requirements: Breaks and lunches are scheduled and cannot be customized. 30-minute lunch, (2) 15-minute breaks before and after lunch period
Job Summary Details:
- Daily data input and processing of claims
- Must understand and review claims (prior medical or dental processing experience is required)
- Processing and determination of claim
- Maintain SLAs and meet good quality
- Must be able to meet schedule without disruption during working hours
- Target volume is 19 claims/hour (135/day) once fully trained
Education Level: Minimum of High School or GED High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum Years of Experience: At least 2yr minimum in on dental or health insurance claims processing.
Specific Skills/Knowledge
- Excellent listening skills to appropriately handle calls
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology and practices
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
- Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
