The Senior Consultant, Clinical Relations works closely with the Clinical Relations & Business Development Senior Manager (externally, Director, Clinical Relations) to ensure the ongoing success of the relationships with our 150 Centers of Excellence (COEs).
In this role, you will serve as a gatekeeper for all Facilitated Appointment and Remote Second Opinion requests to ensure they meet all process requirements before being sent to individual institutions. You will be expected to provide initial and ongoing training to all Health Advisors within the Comprehensive Advisory team. This role interacts with senior level PinnacleCare team members in relation to specific patients and their needs.
In this role, you will directly support the Senior Manager in all initiatives related to growing the network of hospitals, COE’s and individual physician relationships. Continuous maintenance of these relationships is essential to support the significant growth of both the Group and Comprehensive side of the business. The Senior Consultant may be expected to be available after hours should an emergency arise both internationally and/or domestically.What you will bring with you:
10 years work experience in healthcare, customer service and/or project management
Associate or bachelor’s degree
RN/BSN/OT/PT/PA/NP/SLP licensure strongly preferred
Experience coaching and training team members
Expertise in healthcare systems and resources
Excellent ability to build and maintain relationships
Excellent time-management skills, agility in multi-tasking, decisiveness, bias towards action and proactive approach to medical needs of Members
Ability to communicate effectively with medical professionals
Candidate would be referring acute, chronic, and preventative care patients to various centers of excellence for expedited consultations. Need intermediate understanding of medical terminology affiliated with diagnosis for case triage and potential recommendations. Building and maintaining relationships with both centers of excellence, access representatives, and high level physicians.
