Advertising Photographer
The Photographer 1 captures and edits effective and creative photographs as requested for general ministry, Marketing, and Advertising use. The Photographer manages communications, plans and prepares for photo shoots, completes projects, and constantly develops skills.
Manage CommunicationsCommunicate with project sponsors, designers, and others regarding photography project needs and planning. Coordinate with coworkers concerning project information, approval, deadlines, etc.
Plan PhotographyPlan and photograph events, portraits, and candid campus photography in a creative and effective manner. Plan what equipment will be necessary, best viewpoints, and which shots are essential.
Complete ProjectsMaintain a constant workflow of projects to keep up with the high volume of work on a daily basis. Perform work quickly and efficiently under deadlines to ensure that photographs are delivered on time.
Develop Technical SkillsRegularly seek out ways to enhance and develop photographic skills as they pertain to the material needed for ministry and advertising use. Keep current on photographic (social media) trends and technology. Find new techniques and styles and implement them as able.

Physical Requirements and SkillsAbility to lift 20 pounds, Adobe Creative Cloud, Bend body and knees as needed, Digital SLR Cameras, Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, Oral Communications, Written Communication
