Job Description : Our team, supporting Military Sealift Command (MSC), has an immediate need for a CAD Specialist to develop and deliver CAD documents detailing shipboard wiring installations, computer network systems, and specific computing devices. Primary responsibilities include :
- Produce CAD drawings depicting computing network wiring installations with details such as types of cables, cable penetration points in the ship’s hull, paths taken for each cable, and connection points
- Produce CAD drawings detailing components housed in shipboard computer racks
- Produce CAD wiring diagrams showing connections of individual cables to various computing equipment
- Produce CAD drawings used as part of DoD’s Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation packages
- Print various informational graphics, spreadsheets, and visual documents using a plotter
