Our team focuses on cultivating delivery through collaboration, creativity, and innovations to meet people where they are, garner insight and support, and build meaningful connections and trust. As part of the Digital Transformation Solutions group, our team supports the development and delivery of some of the most innovative and immersive web applications in the transportation industry. We are a diverse group of digital innovators comprised of geospatial and web application developers, planners, engineers, UI / UX and graphic designers, communications professionals, and equity and public engagement experts.This person will be working alongside team members in designing, developing, configuring, testing, implementing, and maintaining web applications / systems related to public engagement, equity analysis, and community and urban mobility. The right candidate will be able to work on and prioritize multiple projects at one time, as well as have skills in multiple technical environments.This position is open to any candidate living near cities where HNTB has an office location. Visit HNTB Locations for a list of all office locations.What You'll Do : Design software applications.Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.Work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that the software meets business requirements.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.Write technical documentation for software applications.Perform other duties as assigned.What You'll Need : Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 3 years of relevant experience, orMaster’s degree in computer science or related field and 2 years of relevant experience, orIn lieu of education, 7 years of relevant experience.What You'll Bring : Technical Excellence – an understanding of and desire to support and develop existing and future digital solutions.Positivity – approach challenges with a can-do attitude, seeking innovative ways to deliver what the client needs.Collaboration – work with developers and digital innovation team members across multiple sections and departments.Proactivity – engage with others to solve problems and plan ahead to deliver quality solutions.What We Prefer : Experience developing solutions using C# and .NET Core.Experience using Angular and Vue.js.Experience creating responsive designs for a wide range of devices.Experience with JavaScript TypeScript, CSS, and design frameworks such as Material Design or Bootstrap.Understanding of cross-browser / platform issues and web security.Knowledge of best practices in web design and development.Experience deploying cloud-based web applications with AWS and / or Azure.Experience with agile development and systems engineering life cycles.Excellent problem-solving skills.Consultant, contracting or similar collaborative work experience is a must.Knowledge of accessibility and ADA compliance is a plus.Additional InformationClick here for benefits information : HNTB Total RewardsClick here to learn more about EOE including disability and vetVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.Locations :
