Job Description :
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in prepping, programming, loading, setting up, and striking equipment for a variety of events, ranging from conferences and concerts to weddings. Under the guidance of our AV Director, you will learn all the ins and outs of the industry. This is a perfect position for someone out of college looking to gain experience. You will be directly engaging with customers, providing exceptional customer service, exceeding their expectations. Your responsibilities also include troubleshooting equipment and ensuring flawless event execution. At VSP, our high-energy and friendly staff are known for their passion for the industry!
Responsibilities :
Programming and prepping equipment
Loading and unloading trucks
Setting up and strike of equipment
Equipment maintenance
Work live events operating to your strength of either audio, lighting, video, projection, photobooth, talent assistant etc.
Annual inventory
Engage with clients
Miscellaneous tasks
Requirements : NO EXPERIENCE REQUIREDOwn laptop and own form of transportationAbility to lift 50 lbsProficient in operating large vans and box trucks (CDL license not mandatory)Demonstrates excellence in one or more of the preferred skillsets listed belowOut-of-state travel, extended stays, and weekend work commitmentsAbility to work independently as well as a team playerExcellent problem-solving skills and a fun personalityTwo references from past employers
Preferred Skillsets : Passion and commitment for the entertainment industryPunctual and reliableKnowledge of connecting, troubleshooting, and running any audio, lighting, or projectionAdditional skills in related areas (e.g., photography, camera operation, graphic design, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CAD) are a plus
