Job Description
We are seeking an IT support technician to join our team, using their technology skills to make us even more efficient. In this role, the support person will work on all types of IT systems and assets, assist with upgrades and fixes, and provide training and support as needed. The ideal candidate will have a background in computer hardware and software, network cable and hardware maintenance, and some background in video.
Objectives of this role
Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, applications, servers, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.Handle broadcast-critical IT tasks and system improvementsEnable faster and smarter business processes and employee productivityResearch and evaluate emerging video technologies, hardware, and softwareServe as the subject-matter expert supporting Mac OS X, Windows, and widely used software and applications, such as Microsoft, Adobe, and industry software.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and support workstation software, hardware, printers, and phones.Execute systems and network design, documentation, implementation, testing, and administration, and ensure components meet business needs and work together seamlessly.Implement applications and software upgrades and troubleshoot any performance issues.Train employees in using software and hardware and provide technical support when needed.
Required skills and qualifications
Knowledge of operating systems, current equipment, and technologiesExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality of company information
Preferred skills and qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer scienceProject management experienceProfessional certification
