GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
A Catering & Event Producer is responsible for assisting with all aspects of event planning, management, and execution, servicing social and corporate clients throughout Southern California in support of the Catering & Event Production Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Uphold the high standards of 24 Carrots' handbook andRepresent and uphold the 24 Carrots core values : Trustworthiness, Collaboration, Service Excellence and DedicationAssist with the planning and management of all aspects of events from contract signing through event execution and completionProvide excellent customer service and expertise to clients, supporting them throughout the planning process, day-of at their event as needed, and following the event ensuring customer satisfaction and retentionWork with clients to gather all necessary information to ensure event setup & execution details are accurate and all information is efficiently communicated to the staffCommunicate and distribute event information to appropriate internal staff and managers, working directly with all other departments to ensure all event details are accounted forProcess correspondence (internal & external), proposals, contracts, and BEOs accurately, and in a timely mannerConduct in-house tastings, as needed, for social / wedding / corporate events after event bookingConduct detailing meetings, as needed, for larger detailed eventsAttend site visits with the Catering & Event Production Manager, creating space plans / event layouts when necessaryManage outsourced vendor services for events, including placing / confirming orders, communicating event details, directing on-site as needed, and processing invoices in a timelyAssist with on-site execution of events, as needed, from installation, delivery, and setup through dinner service, and on occasion through to event conclusion.Work with a sense of urgency and duty to actively complete work assignments with detail, accuracy, and a focus on the customer experience.Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners & outsideAttend weekly sales team and weekly BEO reviewOther duties as assigned by the Catering & Event Production ManagerSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Indirectly supervise onsite staff, as needed. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing onsite work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
College degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Hospitality or another business-related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum 2 years of experience within the hospitality industry that includes quantifiable success in an event planning and / or production role.Basic knowledge of catering, event coordination and operations, including pre-event planning, vendor management, on-site logistics and event execution.General interest in food, menu design, and creative eventExperience in working in a computer environment utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM and sales / event management programs.Reliable transportation and clean driving record
