The Civil Division of the Anchorage Trial Court is accepting applications for a Court Case Manager 2 (range 12).
Personnel rules will be applied to determine step placement for the successful internal candidate.The Position
As a Court Case Manager 2, you will respond to inquiries in writing, in person, or by telephone from attorneys, litigants, court personnel, judges, and the general public. This position is responsible for processing civil and small claims default judgments and will receive all incoming civil documents in which court action is required. You will determine if documents are properly filed in accordance with statutes and court rules, ensure motions are accompanied by all necessary supporting documents, and notify counsel or pro se litigants of any deficiencies. You will use the motion tracking module by entering the type of motion filed, date filed, date ready for review, and disposition date.
Additionally, you will generate a daily pull list of files ready for review, check for oppositions and replies, ensure deficiencies have been cured, and route files to appropriate judicial officer or route to the file's final destination. This position will perform other duties and responsibilities within the Anchorage Trial Court as may be assigned.

The Work Hours
Full-time court employees are currently scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week. The work hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.

Minimum QualificationsGraduation from high school or completion of a General Education Development (GED) certificate AND one year of advanced clerical work experience equivalent to a Court Case Manager 1 with the Alaska Court System or an equivalent position with another employer AND the ability to keyboard at least 40 words per minute (net).OR
