OverviewClient is looking for a highly skilled Lead Designer to manage and execute design projects for print and digital collateral. This role requires both hands-on creative work and strong leadership, taking full ownership of assigned projects and teams. The Lead Designer will also foster strong, trust-based relationships with colleagues and leadership to ensure strategic and creative goals are consistently met.Responsibilities25%
Conceptualize, plan, produce, and / or refine a diverse range of creative ideas and specialized graphic or illustrative material in line with the set strategic brief.25%
Take full ownership of assigned projects, managing all aspects of the assignment, including team coordination, contractors, creative work, and client presentations.25%
Oversee assigned projects and brands, ensuring the creative work aligns with strategic goals and brand identity, and presenting work internally and externally.20%
Proactively manage project status and provide feedback to practice leads and leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and project progress.2.5%
Communicate design rationale effectively during internal and external presentations, ensuring clear visual and verbal explanation of concepts.2.5%
Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, leading multiple teams across projects while ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality are met.Build and maintain meaningful, trust-based relationships with colleagues, leadership, and external stakeholders, establishing credibility as the practice expert.RequirementsBFA / BS in Design or equivalent professional experience.3-7 years of relevant design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing concept development and execution.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects and animation.Strong knowledge of design systems and multi-channel digital-first design.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to think strategically and creatively, balancing creative solutions with business objectives.Strong communication skills (both visual and verbal), with experience presenting design concepts and leading design reviews.Proven leadership and relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster trust and credibility with colleagues and clients.Metasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
