Job Description : Qualifications and Experience : Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields.2 years’ experience writing, debugging, and testing PowerShell, SQL, and CMD scripts.Advanced knowledge of SQL Server views, stored procedures, scheduled jobs, and database backups.Experience with ETL of XML, Excel, and CSV files.Experience creating and supporting PowerApps applications and PowerAutomate flows in production use.Experience in evolving technologies.Experience creating and supporting Power BI visualizations, reports, apps, and dashboards.Experience in application support, server support, desktop support and customer service.Experience enforcing role-based security using Active Directory.Experience integrating SQL Server, SSRS, Oracle Database, Active Directory, UKG Workforce TeleStaff, SharePoint, and Power Platform technologies.Experience working with the Maryland State Automated Crash Reporting System (ACRS) data schema.Experience developing automated processes for employee directory services.Demonstrated creative use of data-driven techniques in disaster recovery.
Scope of Work : IMTD requires a contract resource to maintain existing databases and related data processes and applications and support the development of new applications.This resource will develop databases and write, test, document and install program code.This resource will ITS3 will participate in testing, auditing, validation and Statistical Reporting, and coordinate with users to obtain feedback on delivered products and services.This resource will prepare a variety of documentation, including but not limited to design, technical and functional specifications, workflow diagrams, requests for proposal / estimate, defect description reports, software evaluations, policies and procedures, and training guides. specifications, policies, procedures, and training materialsThis resource will upgrade and migrate and rehost databases and applications onto newer technologies.This resource will also design and implement new data sources and processes as dictated by police department requirements.This resource must be willing and able to adapt to new technologies rapidly.
Deliverables : Continued progress in the full development lifecycle of various projects as needed. Support existing department processes such as DataBak, Color Teams, phone directories, and custom apps for business users.
