The Opportunity : Fisher Investments is looking for a Solutions Architect specializing in Media and Entertainment to design and improve our Client Portal's OTT / LMS functionality. You will focus on integrating advanced media technologies, ensuring scalable, secure, and engaging experiences for our clients and prospects worldwide, while using cloud-based solutions and AI-driven innovations. You will report to the VP of Marketing and Corporate Communications Technology Services.
The Day-to-Day : Architect and improve the OTT / LMS platform using cloud-native technologies, including Salesforce Stack (Experience Cloud, Personalize, DC), Azure services for media and entertainmentDesign scalable systems to handle live streaming for 100K concurrent users with media delivery and cloud-based content delivery networksDevelop secure, role-based authentication mechanisms integrating with enterprise identity providers like Okta and AuthPromote content personalization by using AI / ML technologies and data analytics platforms like Salesforce Personalize & Data CloudCollaborate with Marketing and Product teams to implement advanced analytics and reporting features using cloud-based business intelligence toolsEnsure global usability through localization, responsive design, and headless CMS architectureMaintain a modular, API-first architecture to support new content types and extensibilityOversee compliance with international privacy regulations and internal standardsYour Qualifications :
Required : 10 years of experience in architecture and design for digital and OTT platforms in the media and entertainment industryStrong knowledge of AI / ML technologies for content personalization and recommendation enginesExpertise in cloud-based media delivery and management using services like Experience Cloud, Media Hub Like Kaltura / Vimeo, Azure Media ServiceProven experience designing scalable platforms to support 100K concurrent users on cloud infrastructureExperience with API design, microservices architecture, and cloud security protocolsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldPreferred : Experience with serverless architectures and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with data lakes and big data analytics platforms for user behavior analysisKnowledge of low-latency streaming technologies and protocols (e.g., WebRTC, DASH, or HLS)Understanding of edge computing for improved content delivery and reduced latencyExperience with cloud-native CI / CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practicesCompensation : $140,000 - $190,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experienceEligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performanceWhy Fisher Investments :
