Fire Protection Systems Designer.

You Are : EXPERIENCED :
Experience using Fire Protection design software such as Hydratec, AutoSprink, and / or AutoCad; understand and comply with NFPA standards and other applicable federal, state, and local codesKNOWLEDGEABLE :
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree; or equivalent relevant experience; NICET certificationANALYTICAL :
Critical thinker with mathematical aptitude; strong attention to detail; good working knowledge of hydraulic calculations; ability to read and understand construction blueprintsADAPTABLE :
Quickly adjusts to a changing environment; successfully manages priorities under time constraintsFLEXIBILE :
Available as needed; able to travel to client sites when necessary
What You’ll Do : PROVIDE :
Utilize expertise in fire protection systems design to complete a successful installation, providing a quality product that pleases the clientKEEP TO CODE :
Accurately and thoroughly prepare code compliant fire protection system designs within stipulated timeframes for a variety of fire protection projectsPREPARE :
Produce fire sprinkler design drawings that maximize efficiency, meet code compliance and industry standards and specifications; hydraulic calculations to determine pipe sizesCOORDINATE :
Coordinate pipe and sprinkler locations with building components and other trades
